His research and ministry sit at the intersection of Karl Barth’s theology, philosophical theology, and lived Asian American Christian experience, with sustained attention to how doctrine forms preaching, discipleship, and the daily life of the church. Fluent in English and Chinese, he has a long track record of translating rigorous theological scholarship into transformative ministry practice.
